Our Story
Two family legacies. One jewellery house.
Conversations with friends searching for engagement rings highlighted a common problem — finding quality jewellery at a fair price, from someone they could trust.
That led Alan Abraham Pachikara, drawing on his experience in finance and UK business operations, to approach his cousin Chacko Pulimoottil, who has longstanding experience sourcing and supplying gold and diamonds to the jewellery trade in India.
Combining Chacko's jewellery expertise with Alan's financial and commercial experience, P & P Jewellers was created to offer a more personal, transparent and trusted way to buy fine jewellery.

The Pachikara Legacy
A family tradition rooted in enterprise, leadership and responsibility.
The Pachikara family traces its history to the Knanaya Syrian Christian community of Central Travancore, with recorded roots extending back to the 17th century.
Among the family's prominent early figures was Pachikara Punnoose Tharakan. The historic Tharakan title was associated with prominent merchants and community figures entrusted with commercial and administrative responsibilities under regional rulers.
That tradition of enterprise continued through later generations, including business interests in rubber, real estate and, more recently, manufacturing in the UK.

The modern Pulimoottil business legacy began in 1924, establishing a family tradition of commerce and enterprise in Kerala. From 1931, that legacy expanded into specialist gold and diamond expertise.
Over generations, jewellery knowledge, sourcing expertise and commercial experience became an established part of the family tradition.
Today, that expertise continues through Chacko Pulimoottil's gold and diamond sourcing & supply business.
That practical combination of sourcing, product knowledge and quality assurance forms the jewellery side of P & P.

Do you offer natural and lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. We source both natural and lab-grown diamonds. The diamond origin is clearly stated before purchase, together with the relevant specification and grading information.
Will my diamond come with a certificate?
Eligible diamonds are available with independent GIA or IGI grading reports, with report details provided for verification.
How does Build Your Ring work?
Choose your preferred diamond and setting. We then present suitable certified stones and confirm the exact specification and final price before you commit.
How long will my order take?
Lead times depend on whether your piece is ready to buy, made to order or bespoke. We confirm the expected timescale before accepting your order.
How is my jewellery delivered in the UK?
Delivery, tracking, insurance and signature requirements are confirmed before dispatch. High-value orders are handled using an appropriate secure delivery method.
Why don't you have a physical store?
P & P is an online jewellery boutique by design. Without the overheads and environmental footprint of a traditional retail store, we can focus on quality, value and personal service. Consultations are available online, giving you direct access to us throughout your purchase.
Can I speak to someone before ordering?
Absolutely. Arrange a WhatsApp or video consultation to discuss diamonds, designs, budgets and specifications before committing.

The final specification, price, payment schedule, delivery arrangements and applicable terms are confirmed in writing before your order is accepted.
Returns, cancellations and aftercare
Your rights depend on whether a piece is standard, made to order or personalised. The applicable cancellation and returns terms will be provided before any deposit or payment is accepted. This does not affect your statutory rights. Resizing, repairs and aftercare are assessed individually.
Ordering terms
Submitting an enquiry or ring brief does not create an order. An order is accepted only after we confirm the jewellery specification, diamond details, total price, payment schedule, expected timescale and delivery arrangements in writing.
Privacy
We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and administer requested orders. We do not sell your personal information. WhatsApp and Facebook process information under their own privacy terms. To request access, correction or deletion, email pandpjewellersuk@gmail.com.
Deposits and bespoke work
Any deposit, balance payment and stage-payment conditions will be stated clearly in your written quotation. Bespoke production begins only after the agreed specification and payment terms have been confirmed.
